Forgiveness

My heart’s wisdom is urging me to post about Forgiveness of Self today. My nearly 9-year-old who is wonderfully well-behaved most of the time did something yesterday which he found difficult to forgive himself for, surprise surprise forgiving self has never been an easy one for me too! Brought up as Catholic you are taught from birth to forgive others but not yourself. But how can you forgive others when you don’t know how to forgive yourself? My journey so journey has taught me and is still teaching me to practice Forgiveness consciously, practice compassion, love and embrace my imperfections as this is who I am, my whole self not just the edited version of who I am.
